Chanel College Moamoa Ex Students now residing in Auckland, New Zealand as well as the school back in Samoa are deeply appreciative and indebted to all the people in these photos and others for their unending generosity, support and sponsorships of these fundraisers for Chanel College, Moamoa and the generations of students who have passed through their doors. It is because of their generosity, love, support and assistance, that these students have been and will continue to better serve their families, their faith, their communities, governments and countries.
Our main sponsor for our first Social fundraising night was Keiliano's Giftware, Foodbar and Multi-Cultural Dance Group: 41 Farringdon Street, Glen Innes, Auckland, New Zealand.
The following pictures are from our second 2010 Fundraising Social at le Maota Samoa in the City of Auckland in New Zealand on the 3rd July 2010. Again we are deeply indebted to all these people in the photographs for their support of the Chanel College Family.

Talofa All.
This is a brief note to ask you to remember in your prayers the soul of one of our Chanel College foundation students who passed away peacefully at his home in California yesterday morning. He is Leonard Fido. Born 13 Feb 1946, eldest son of Robert and Estelle Fido of Taufusi. A good product of Marist Catholic Schools namely St Mary’s, Marist Brothers and Chanel (1962-64). He worked as a draftsman at the Government of Samoa Lands and Survey Dept after graduating from Chanel. Leonard moved with Estelle and 4 children to USA in 1979. He worked in California as an Electro-Mechanical Draftsman and recently as a Security Officer at the Toyota Headquarters in the city of Torrance, California. He also served in his community as a Lector and an Eucharist Minister as well as serving in a number of positions on various Catholic Ministries. In June 2009, he was ordained Deacon.
He is survived by his wife Elisapeta (David), nine children and over twenty grandchildren. Leonard is oldest brother of Fr Takito Fido at Onehunga and Panmure parishes.
May God have mercy on his soul and may he rest in peace.
Vui.
