Welcome to our Samoan Mass on Father's Day.

Our Samoan Mass falls on Father's Day, Sunday the 4th of September 2010, and you are still Welcome and encouraged to attend. The Beach Haven Catholic Youth and Moms will have some small contributions and  items prepared to acknowledge all Fathers who can attend the Mass and the after Mass Function in the Hall behind the Church Building.

This is just one of the many acknowledgements to all fathers from the Bible, and a message from a Disciple of Our Saviour Jesus Christ, from Jesus Christ himself, and from God Our Heavenly Father-

EPHESIANS 5:23 "For the husband is the head of
the wife as Christ is the head of the
church, his body, of which he is the Savior."

See you all at Beach Haven!

From Chanel Ex Student President July 21st 2010

Malo lava le soifua ma le galulue
Just a brief note to thank Asi and Paula and their youth for the use of their hall last Friday for our meeting and get together.
Was an excellent relaxing night and the BBQ put on by Asi plus the feed donated by all was great. The drinks also slipped down well.
It was most pleasing to have Tuaopepe Ioasa, Jacob Von Dincklage, Lemalu Mikaele and Ben Purcell join us for the social evening and general discussion. A very good turn out and we hope we can do this more often.
Special thanks to Lemalu Mikaele for the donation. Lemalu is in the shipping industry and has recently been appointed CEO of another shipping company that plys the Samoa-NZ route. Our network is growing and therefore we should support and take advantage of rates for services such as accounting, shipping, properties, printing, seafood, insurance etc etc
Our secretary Taipi Lolesio will advise of our next events which will include a date for another get-together before the golf team leaves for the Chanel tournament in Samoa. For those keen to attend that event in early September, please contact Sulu Devoe, Ben Purcell or  Vena Felise.
Once again, faafetai lava le lagolago, faafetai le fai uso, faafetai le fai a'oga, faafetai le fai mea mafai.
Ma le ava e tatau ai
Ben

Our next Samoan Mass at Beach Haven on 1st August 2010

Greetings and best wishes to all our Ex Students. Please be informed that our next Samoan Mass for all Catholic Ex Students will be held at the Maria Assumpta Parish Church on Beach Haven Road at 11.00 am, on Sunday 1st August 2010.

This monthly Mass for our convenience is a compliment to us from Padre Michael Endemann where we can give thanks to God for our many Blessings he has bestowed us, and to meet and catch up with old rivals, friends, and good company- new and from days past. The Reverend Padre is an Ex Student of Chanel College, Moamoa and is always happy and looking forward to see and meet each and every one of you.
Let us return the complement by trying to make every effort to attend this Holy Mass. You are all Welcome and we look forward to seeing you all there, in the love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
